Searching for U.S. Newspapers: There are many ways to search for U.S. newspapers, newspaper groups and associations. The default search is for U.S. daily and weekly newspaper home pages.

To find U.S. daily and weekly newspaper home pages by state, simply click on the map or select the state from the list box and click "Search". You can also find a newspaper by typing in a city or any part of a newspaper name (e.g. Times, Dispatch, Daily News, etc.) in the field titled "Newspaper name or city" and clicking "Search".

You can hone your search by selecting other options from the first drop-list, e.g. U.S. Dailies, U.S. Weeklies, Groups, Associations and then clicking on the map or selecting a state from the list box and clicking "Search".

You can further refine your search by bringing up only the newspaper section you want. Simply choose from the drop-list titled "Newspaper Home Page". Under this drop list you will find many newspaper sections to choose from such as sports, business, classifieds, etc. Highlight the section you desire and either click on the map or select a state from the list box and click "Search".

The search results will provide newspaper name, city and state in alphabetical order according to newspaper name. You can sort the list by clicking on the headers "city" or "state". To access the newspaper on the list, just click on the newspaper name.

Searching for Canadian or International Newspapers: You must first select either "Canadian" or "International" from the first drop-list. Depending on your selection, a Canadian map or a world map will appear. To search by province or region, simply click on the map or select a region/province from the drop-list and click "Search". You can also enter the name of the city, country, province or newspaper name in the search box and select "Search". Please note: you cannot perform newspaper section searches for Canadian and International newspapers.
